I took up photography when my wife and I were starting a family as I realised that recording all the different moments brought enormous joy to us and those around us. That was in 2017 and that passion has only grown with each passing year.
I am a “natural” photographer, which means that I like to be as unobtrusive as possible, recording the people and relationships in front of me as naturally as possible. The focus of my shoots is to capture authentic interactions in flattering and beautiful ways, rather than pose people in ways that do not feel right to them. I bring an eye for colour, shape and form to my work, and might make suggestions based on the location, background, space and colour available, to create appealing images.
In all my work I love to maximise beautiful and flattering natural light. However, I do use additional lighting when needed in darker venues, homes or any situation where the light available isn't enough for those perfect images.
I'll help you take the time to press ‘pause' on your busy, everyday life and capture the people you love as they are now.
In a family shoot, the setting might be playing in the park, going for a walk, or curling up to read a bedtime story book. These are some of the moments I know I treasure, when we are with the people we care for the most. If it is your wedding day then my aim is to give you amazing memories while blending into your day rather than dominating it.
I am based in South Cambridgeshire which is well placed for photography sessions across Essex, Bedford, Norfolk, Suffolk, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, to name a few.
